1. How do you start your day?

I have to have my COFFEE! Then I’m good to review my calendar to make sure I know when my meetings are scheduled. Most of my meetings are virtual so then I have to be sure I’m camera ready just in case.

2. What do you do to enrich yourself outside of work?

I am always seeking out quick training courses online, I follow TedTalks for motivational and inspirational topics.

3. If you need inspiration, where do you draw from?

I’m a strong believer in collaboration, if there is something that I need inspiration for, I’m not afraid of tapping on colleagues and friends who may have experience and talents that could inspire me.

4. What work-related habit or practice do you think contributes the most to your success?

I believe success comes from what you invest into it and that it is far more that the actual work. It is the investment into people. The relationships you have with your team, both staff and the Executive level team. Having open and honest communication and being transparent and willing to learn and accept constructive criticism.

5. What’s the best thing you’ve found to do when you’re stressed?

PRAY! and take a walk. Step away from the situation, get a sip of water and a breath of fresh air. Even a quick 15 minutes can do wonders.
