Senior .NET Engineer – Voice AI Applications

Position Summary

At Parker Technology, our customer service representatives and software help real people—motorists stuck at parking garage entries and exits—get moving again. This is not a pure-play B2B SaaS job: you’ll see your code drive microphones, devices, gates, and (most importantly) make a small difference in 5,000+ people’s lives every day.

We’re building our voice AI capabilities to answer and resolve calls autonomously while transferring calls to live agents when the AI can’t cut it. You’ll work with a skilled team to ship production‑grade voice AI services that blend LLMs with sub‑second telephony performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and build .NET microservices that interact with AI/voice pipelines and trigger real-world hardware events.
  • Expand the .NET application that enables 60+ live agents to conduct real-time video-based support calls with motorists.
  • Optimize for latency and reliability: implement caching, circuit breakers, telemetry, and automated rollbacks so motorists never wait.
  • Work closely with other engineers, product, and even field support—expect the occasional trip to a parking garage to see your code in action.
  • Mentor teammates on .NET best practices, code reviews, testing, and clean architecture.

What You Bring

  • Growth mindset—you love learning, iterating, and shipping quickly.
  • 6+ years of C#/.NET Core building high‑throughput, customer‑facing systems.
  • History of meeting tight performance SLAs (latency, concurrency, uptime).
  • A robust testing culture, including unit, integration, and load testing.
  • Comfortable reading/writing JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
  • Clear, concise communication in Jira tickets, code reviews, and cross‑team discussions.

Bonus Points

  • Hands‑on work with voice or video pipelines (SIP, WebSockets, WebRTC, Twilio, SignalWire, FreeSWITCH).
  • Experience prompt‑engineering or fine-tuning LLMs and vector search (RAG) workflows.
  • Familiarity with modern security standards and SOC2.
  • Familiarity with application monitoring, CI/CD, and IaC setup and processes.

What We Offer

  • Impact you can see—visit a garage and watch your service help a real person exit in seconds.
  • Chance to shape our AI strategy alongside a small, senior engineering team.
  • Competitive salary, 401(k) with match, healthcare, and the normal stuff.
  • Flexible work environment with awesome, easy-going coworkers in downtown Indianapolis.

Our Values
